It's the web page that website traffic flows in to so that you can introduce them to the rest of your venture. There's a great deal of freedom here. Obviously, this means that you have a lot of room in which you might make numerous mistakes. These are several of the larger mistakes that you might make and what you must do to avoid them.

1. Making a wreck of your headline. Your title (or your headline) must be able to capture your traffic's attention. Headline and title writing are very complicated. If you are able to afford the expense, you must hire a skilled copywriter to do the job for you. You need to keep your title/headline as to the point as possible but it also needs to be descriptive and interesting.

2. A lot of people set their squeeze pages up to look and operate in the very same way that the other pages on their web sites operate and look. It's fine to do this when your website is a personal blog mainly because that's usually the first page of your blog anyway. As a business, however, it helps to use a completely different format and design to help catch people's attention.

3. Do not try and do too much on your squeeze page. Your landing page will need to only have one goal at a time. What that target is, is entirely for you to decide. If you are building a list, make your landing page's entire function about getting someone's information. If you want to sell something, make it about selling that certain product.

If the aim is to offer for sale a product, your landing page should center on that. If you ask your traffic to do a lot, they will simply get confused. Your conversion ratio could go down simply because they won't know what thing they must do first. They'll be a lot more likely to click away when this happens.

4. Don't forget about simple design strategies. We do not know why, but most people tend to think before a squeeze page can be successful it has to be as loud and flashy as possible. You should not cave in to the crowd on this, regardless of how much pressure you have. If you aren't confident what to do in terms of a design, engage a professional designer to assist you.

Don't ever cease working. You shouldn't let up on your squeeze page. Always work to perfect it!
